Description

We will present the recently released open-source MMA-HHG toolbox (mma-hhg.github.io) for modelling high-harmonic generation (HHG) in gases. The package provides a common framework for coupling the microscopic response of elementary emitters to the local driving field resulting from nonlinear propagation in the macroscopic generating medium, and for coherently combining these contributions to reconstruct the macroscopic XUV field. The current public version focuses on linearly polarised driving fields and cylindrically symmetric propagation, with the aim of enabling detailed comparison with laboratory HHG experiments while preserving stand-alone use of the individual modules. The development of this package is strongly driven by laboratory applications.

This release contains Docker container to learn all the features of the package locally and to test different analyses of the results, there is also a Pythonic interface to microscopic HHG response obtained from numerically solving time dependent Schrödinger equiation. It provides a detailed insight into the process (ionisation, Gabor transform, ...). Then, we show templates for computational pipelines to deploy the code on a supercomputer

One of the ongoing simulation efforts is the application on monochromatising HHG source using Bessel-Gauss beams in density-modulated gas targets. We will present the actual results of full-scale simulations of this
scheme.
